Hope... Anchors my Heart
The Full Story
My Stories
This is a collection of my short stories, devotions and poems.

The Price is Paid
The wood was brown, roughhewn,
heavy and intimidating
The thorns were long and sharp
Sunk deep into the skin
The nails were large, black iron
Pushed through the palms,
Pushed through the feet
Blood flowed from the wounds
Staining the wood red
Pain and desperation, he felt
As the crowd mocked and yelled
His mother looked on in horror
As her eldest son died
With one final phrase
It is finished
Finished, not yet
The third day’s sun
Rose bright and true
The stone, rolled away
Solders ran in fear
As the angels appeared
The sacrifice, made
The prophesy, fulfilled
The veil, torn
The tomb, empty
The Christ, risen

My Special Verses
But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.
